Privacy Policy
This policy explains what MJ Rush collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect as little as possible.

Who we are
MJ Rush ("we", "us") is a casual Hong Kong Mahjong game for iOS, Android, and the web. This policy covers the MJ Rush app and the mjrush.app website. If you have any questions, email [email protected].
What we collect
- Account identity. When you play, we create an account for you and assign an anonymous user ID. If you link a sign-in provider (e.g. Apple or Google), we store the identifier that provider returns — not your password.
- Profile. Your display name and chosen avatar.
- Gameplay data. Your rank, XP, coins, purchased avatars, and match and hand statistics.
- Technical diagnostics. Crash reports and basic error logs (app version, device type, operating system) to help us fix bugs.
We do not ask for your real name, contact list, precise location, photos, or microphone. We do not show third-party advertising.
How we use it
- To run multiplayer matches, save your progress, and show leaderboards and rank.
- To keep accounts secure and prevent abuse and bots.
- To diagnose crashes and improve the game.
Service providers
We use a small number of trusted providers to operate the game. They process data only on our behalf:
- Supabase — account authentication and database hosting.
- Sentry — crash and error reporting.
- Cloudflare — website hosting, network security, and bot protection (Turnstile).
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, the associated data is removed promptly. Anonymous, aggregated diagnostics that are not linked to your account (e.g. crash counts) may persist.
Deleting your data
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time — from inside the app, or by emailing us. Full instructions are on our Delete your account page.
Children
MJ Rush is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To make a request, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
